It is my privilege and pleasure to explain my selection of Jack Moore as our family lawyer. I have been friends with Jack and Lisa Moore since 1996. Anyone who knows Jack will remark about his intelligent wit, perspicacity, interest in his community, music, love of friends and family. Jack has the finest sense of humor of anyone I have ever met. No matter what the situation, he can always find a quick and easy solution accomplished through his strategic intelligence and thinking outside the box. I know no one who can take a complex legal situation and devise a simple solution like Jack Moore.
When my father was dying, he wanted to change his will. My father wanted to meet Jack after hearing me rave about Jack. Jack has a highly compassionate nature and my Dad immediately liked him. This was not my father’s nature. But Jack has the ability to make anyone at ease. I wasn’t surprised that Dad liked Jack so much. My father was a very successful businessman and had many legal dealings in his life. I can’t remember when my Dad looked forward to talking to lawyers, but he did with Jack.
Jack cut to the chase and turned a somewhat complex situation into one which pleased my Dad. This wasn’t easy to do. My Dad lived through the Great Depression and served during World War II. Things weren’t easy for him or his generation. Dad was very frugal and would complain about any non- discretionary spending. When he received Jack’s revision of his will and the bill associated with it, he remarked, “I knew I liked that boy”.
Trust and respect is not something that comes easy to me. I only have a handful of people outside my family that I can use those terms for. Jack is certainly in the top of my list. He is a great friend, father and counselor.
I couldn’t be more proud that to spread the word about Jack’s nature and brilliant abilities. He is truly a rare delight. I will want him in my corner as my family lawyer and friend from now until I close my eyes for the last time.
